Electric Ford Capri
June 6, 2008Yep. I’m building an electric car. Or, more precisely, I’m retrofitting an electric motor and batteries to a 1990 ford capri (mercury capri for you yanks). Throwing away the perols (gas….) engine, and ending up up with a zero emission, high performance, whisper quiet convertible. Total projected cost? About $12000, including the car. Soooo many reasons to do it – will get into them in a video blog of my conversion process. I may even create a new URL for the project, linking it to here….
